Performance Friction & Brembo Z04 Brakepads

We at TGP have for years relied on the braking performance of Performance Friction brake pads from USA. We have tried many different brake pads and nothing compares to the pads from Performance Friction when it comes to performance and durability. Fading in combination with Racing Brake Fluid from these surfaces are virtually impossible.

The coating mixture “95” (progressive) is characterized by a progressive course of braking. This means that the stopping power with increasing temperature during the braking phase increases. The beginning of the braking performance is very good modulation and rather gentle, but without requiring excessive force. These pads are ideal when excessive braking is necessary.

The coating mixture “07” (linear) has a linear course of braking. It has high initial braking power while maintaining performance, unless you increase the pressure on the pistons, then puts the compound 07 to again strongly, even if it is hot.

General:

  • The wear resistance is very good.
  • Excellent preservation of the disc.
  • Despite the higher coefficient of friction compared to other compounds is no apparent increase in brake temperature given.

Brembo Z04 Race brake pad

The Z04 Brembo brake pads have a thoroughbred racing surface of the highest requirements.

  • Extremely vicious and very high linear coefficient of friction up to the highest temperature areas.
  • Stronger as the Perfromance Friction Compound 07.
  • Used by many drivers in the World Superbike and Supersport World Championships, together with the 6 mm or 5.5 mm diameter Brembo Racing brake discs. Prefer for 30 mm rotor hight.
  • This pad is manufactured in 12 different pad shapes.
