For pure racing operation, there are the wheels as compe-R which are reduced in weight and the properties of the magnesium wheels that come very close.
The Weight reduction with magnesium wheels, depending on the model are at 40% to 45% and 20% to 25% for aluminum wheels, compared to the standard wheel.
This reduction in rotating unsprung mass, and the massive reduction of the centrifugal forces cause any bike can be moved easily. Thus an investment in safety and joy of riding a motorcycle and a huge improvement in appearance and value of each motorcycle.
